I've been working on a visual editor for the procedural planet generator system so I can get real-time feedback on the planet texture scripts as I write them. Hopefully I'll be able to replace the default textures with procedural ones in 0.7.0 :)

Still trying to get 0.7.0 done before November is out and trying to make sure it's substantial to make up for keeping everyone waiting!

In addition to the exploration content and the new planet generator I'm also attempting to _finally_ get material synthesis (crafting) into the game.

More progress on the texture scripting system! I've been working on replicating the C++ based earthlike planet generator and I turned the progress screenshots I've been taking into a GIF:

I like the gif very cool. Can not wait to see it in the flesh.. errr.. or the stone that is.

Took a break today from implementation work on material synthesis to finally fix a bunch of inconsistencies in the UI coloring and in the process got rid of the rounded rects and made everything look a bit nicer, IMO.

Oh nice. Love the new colour. I do feel rounded edges feels more comfortable and casual, where sharp corners look more business-like and "windows"ish.

I'm just about done with the UI flow for the material synthesis. UI work is the absolute worst because of how time consuming it is and how difficult it is to show progress until pretty much everything is hooked up but I'm almost there.
