Presenting the Phaeton Spaceflight Systems FX-28 Excalibur Space Superiority Fighter:
The FX-28 Excalibur is a product of the Next Generation Space Combat Platform competition of 2143. Out of a number of finalists it is considered a strong contender to become the new primary Earth Colonial Fleet space fighter.
The Excalibur features the following components:

- 2x Rolls-Royce Icarus Ion Drive
- 2x 1.5 Gigajoule Phased Plasma Cannon
- Hydra MVMS Multi-Vector Missile System
- GE KFS-3 Kinetic Force Shield
- Phaeton VersaPort Modular Weapon Bay
Founded in 2102, Phaeton Spaceflight Systems hopes to become the primary supplier of weapon systems to the ECF Navy by 2145, with the FX-28 being the first of many contracts to come.
